The most important duty of our colleagues is to find a babysitter that best suits your schedule and lifestyle. Our principle is a tailor made search for which we receive information from you during a personal conversation or a family visit.
Before accepting a childminder we thoroughly evaluate all applicants during a personal conversation and carefully check all references. We enquire about important questions such as physical and mental state of the applicant and their moral background. In addition to that, a senior colleague personally talks to all applicants. Our attention to detail ensures that you can trust the babysitter, the helper or nurse that you invite to your home to take care of your children.
With the information from the completed questionnaire, the application form, the family interview and the personal interview in hand, your contact person starts looking for the babysitter that best suits you. According to the schedule of the child(ren), your expectations and special requests they get in touch with childminders who meet these requirements and demands. Following this they will send you information on the possible applicants (by fax, by e-mail or even in person). After looking at the application forms and photos you inform your contact person whom you would like to meet in person.
After choosing a babysitter, you receive full documentation including the following:
The personal interview takes place at a time set by you and the babysitter. It might help you to follow the questions of the personal interview.
If you think that any of the babysitters meet your expectations, we recommend a probation period of up to 2 weeks. If, during the probation period, you think that you did not choose the most suitable babysitter, the search continues.
It is important that there are as little changes in your child's life as possible so careful selection from the office is very important, for which we would like to ask you for the most information and help possible.
All babysitters chosen by our agency meet the following criteria:
Looking after children is more than a job to do
Our most important duty is to determine the ability to do childminding
Our training consists of the following:
During the preparation period we enable our babysitters to be introduced to the educational material on the theory of childcare. We have published our own textbook, which functions as the basis of the curriculum, with the help of our trainers. The book was checked by a famous child-psychologist and an obstetrician-gynaecologist. The participants receive the textbook free of charge but it can be purchased by anyone in our office.
Areas of the curriculum:
The theoretical training consists of a 54-hour, well organised series of lectures. Participation in the theoretical training is compulsory as paediatricians, nurses and teachers introduce the applicants to the secrets of looking after children.
The theoretical preparation closes with a final exam. The objective of the exam is to test the babysitter's knowledge.
During the practical training the applicant gets in contact with our children from 6 months to 7 years of age in our Children's hotel or kindergarten. This way, everything that was learnt in theory can be introduced in practice.
The duration of the practical training is 200 hours. Tasks are: feeding, putting to sleep, nappy changing, potty training, playing, walks, reading stories etc.
A gyakorlati idő végeztével kétnyelvű oklevelet kap tőlünk, mely igazolja az akkreditált (Pl-0414) képzésben való részvételét.
After the practical training the applicants receive a bilingual accredited (Pl-0414) diploma as proof of their participation in the course. In addition to this we issue a Hungarian-English letter of reference on the activities during the practical training.
Ask the applicant during every personal interview to show his/her diploma and references as these are important for the selection.
